The Psychologists’ Association of Alberta Fee Guide suggests the fee for Psychological Service should be at $235 / hour session as of January 1st 2025.
DIRECT BILLING
Available for many providers – see below. Please also note that fees for psychological services may be claimed under tax deductible health care expenses on your income tax return.

Fee: $235 / hour session

Session fees can also be claimed or arranged through one of the following:
- Certain Employee & Family Assistance Programs
- Extended Health Care Coverage
Check with your benefits provider for your Psychological Services coverage. If we do not direct bill for your insurance, you will be able to submit your receipt on your own for reimbursement.
